Monument record 1581/0/0 - Unlocated prehistoric finds

Two axes have been found in Harpole.

{1} A stone, boat-shaped battle-axe (Roe's Group 1A) was found somewhere in the parish in 1937. A stone adze recorded from 'near Harpole' is an ethnographic item. A bronze socketed axe has also come from the parish;

{2} The battle axe is a Stage 1 with a crescentric butt form
