Full Description

{1} Find of a Saxon coin initially and incorrectly identified as Aethelred. First recorded by George as Aethelheard, Archbishop of Canterbury (798-805). Found within churchyard.

{4} Archaeological recording of area around Brixworth Church during drainage works, only archaeological finds were unstratified early building material including two pieces of Roman or Saxon tile along with small fragments of human bone.
