Full Description

{1} Extension to the vestry on the north-east side of church revealed large quantities of human bone from articulated skeletons. Graves were visible but undated.

{2} Post medieval cast iron gravemarkers. Their use commenced in the C17th when they were cheaper than stone. They are often broken up or removed from graveyards. Head and foot markers + mort. Safe.

{3} Medieval coffin lid found.

{4} Possible medieval burial investigated by G. Cadman.

{5} Boundary shown on Church Survey plan but may have altered over time
