Fieldwalking survey identified a scatter of Saxon pottery.

Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking recovered early middle saxon pot sherds including two probable decorated sherds which are possibly early Saxon. The concentration of about a dozen sherds lies in an area of less than 5 sq.m. immediately adjacent to the hedge.

{2} Anglo-Saxon sherds found in 1981 at this location.
