Summary
The earthworks of a ploughed-over subrectangular enclosure bounded by a bank and external ditch, probably part of the deserted village of Little Newton. It seems to have been interpreted as Iron Age in the past.

Full Description
{2} Ewk enclosure inspection; currently under pasture; bank and part of enclosure ditch discernable; bank top stands at least 1.5m above ditch base.
{3} Earthwork of a subrectangular medieval enclosure. It is bounded by a bank and external ditch and at its west end it is raised to form two platforms, each 1.5m high. The south-east corner has been cut by the Geddington mill leat.
{4} Possible undated earthwork (DNH GIS Mapping: Newton/Site 4). CHECK: GIS Mapping only, not on DNH main text database!
{5} Ploughed without permission in 1980; Plan: 6"
