Full Description

{1} Watching brief of September 1989 by M.Holmes. Possible Iron Age pottery was recovered from the uniform dark loamy clay fill of a large feature 21.5m x 12.5m, possible a quarry pit or pond as it cut into clay occupying an area of sand.

{3} A small infilled quarry or pond at SP98207795. This produced a quantity of Iron Age pottery.
