Full Description
{1} Ditches, pits and postholes in and around rectangular enclosures (1816/0/1+4) may indicate a multi-phase site or at least separate phase of activity. Two pits between the western and central groups of enclosures contained 46 sherds of late Bronze Age to early Iron Age pottery. The remaining features were aceramic, but may relate to prehistoric activity.
{2} Two shallow pits located between the western and central enclosures produced some 46 sherds of late Bronze Age-early Iron Age pottery which, with other isolated sherds, represents the earliest activity.
