Full Description

{1} Find of July/August 1938. A quartzite macehead found in field OS148 by a farm labourer and given to Northampton Museum by V.Everard, the landowner. Field at SP979785. The macehead is still in Northampton Museum. It was picked up by a farm labourer when spreading manure
