Full Description

{1} Watching brief, part of the A1-M1 contract, undertaken in September 1989 by M Holmes. A possible prehistoric pit, 1.16m wide and 0.40m deep, was recorded. It had a dark grey loamy clay fill containing a small amount of prehistoric pottery.
