Full Description

{1}Possible Roman settlement in the north of the parish on Boulder Clay at 250ft above OD. Although only a few Roman sherds have been found, the adjacent fields, now permanent grassland, may contain the main part of this presumed settlement. Correct grid ref: TL007743;(1);TL007753;
