Full Description

{1} Finds of grey ware sherds from a pipe trench just north of the churchyard wall; these are presumed in fact to be medieval; see RN:8366017; found in 1964.

{2} Documentary refrences to site of North Manor in 1577; SP838667.

{3} Earthworks to the west of the church; several embanked and scarped closes behind the existing houses; mostly destroyed by modern housing; centred on SP838667. Earthwork probably associated with the North Manor.

{4} NCCAP:8366/? = RAF VAP 3G/TUD/UK/118,6229-31.
