Full Description
{2} Trench 1: Curving ditch containing Roman sherds. Trench 2: Irregular flat bottomed ditch or gully containing early Roman pottery. Pair of small pits or post holes, late Iron Age or Roman. Trench 4: general scatter of Roman pottery in subsoil. 2 parallel shallow gullies containing Roman pottery. Trench 5: shallow ditches or gullies of Roman date. Broad shallow ditch containing Roman sherds.
