Full Description
{1} Trial excavation of 1972 revealed a Romano-British metalled area at SP80526477.
{2} Pottery and coins of late C3rd and early C4th were recovered, but also with some early C3rd and C2nd material. NGR SP805646 from Map P.101. Trial trenching revealed a cobbled surface in the area R97. A limited excavation confirmed the presence of a yard but major work was not justified.
