Full Description

{1} From 1963 Roman pottery of 1st to 4th century found, including Samian, colour-coated ware, calcite gritted and grey ware and mortaria. There is also a scatter of limestone near the north hedge of the field. Other finds include part of a quern, part of a bronze bracelet, a small 3rd-4th century bronze coin, animal bones and worked flints.

{2} Iron Age and Roman sherds found on site, plus an antoninianus of Claudius II (AD268-70)
