{1} (SP 80516070) RB Horseshoe dredged from the ford near Clifford Hill, in 1932.

{2} POSSIBLE ROMANO-BRITISH HORSE SHOE

{3} R Moore (keeper Northampton Museum) says that it is probably not Roman but he does not know who was responsible for the original classification and doesn't know where the shoe is.
