Full Description

{1}Fishpond (SP 90686010) lies NE of the village in a narrow valley draining N, on clay at 60 m. above OD. It consists of a small pond bounded by well-marked banks up to 1.5 m. high. There are two modern breaks in the bank, near the NE corner. The present stream flows immediately to the W but a dry channel on the E may be its original course. It is probably a medieval fishpond.

{8} At SP 80706010, in a small pasture field, is a dried up fish pond and water channel, possibly the remains of a fish pond complex. A pond immediately north is comparatively modern but may have been cut on the lines of an old depression. Earthworks surveyed at 1/2500 on A.M. and current field document.
