Full Description
{1} 2 possible limestone mortars found at north west edge of old quarry pit during ploughing in 1977. Quarry pi tnow visible as very deep depression.
{2} Limestone block approx 470x410x160mm with cup depressions, 150mm diameter and 70mm deep, on smooth upper surface. Ploughed up 1977 and given to Northampton Museum. Belgic pottery from surrounding area, with earlier Iron Age pottery from area of square enclosure to NW. A number of worked flints including leaf arrowhead from this field and field to west.
