Monument record 2001 - Possible Roman or medieval settlement
Please read our guidance about the use of Northamptonshire Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Cropmarks of rectilinear cropmarks identified on aerial photographs. The cropmarks were interpreted as a possible moated dating to the medieval/post-medieval period, but there is little to confirm this. Roman pottery has been found in the vicinity and the cropmarks may date to this period.
