Full Description

{1} Roman settlement (SP 99018240), in the west of the parish on a south east facing slope at 170ft above OD on Oxford Clay. Roman pottery of 3rd and 4th century date and a scatter of limestone rubble have been found (inf D A Jackson).

{2} NH 2 Listed as a possible site of a Roman villa
