{1}Principal feature of site's early history found to be ditched enclosure containing circular hut 7m diameter; central hearth & mortar floor; floor was retained within ring of limestone flags laid on edge; possible entrance identified; no indications as to how superstructure was constructed; provisional date of 60-80 AD allocated;,
