Find of a Romano-British cup "resembling Samian", but possibly Arretine Ware. Stamped OF. LIBERTI. Found c1834.

{1} Find of a Romano-British cup "resembling Samian", but possibly Arretine Ware.

{2} The 'Stamp of liberti' was in the possession of Mr. Thomas Beal of Oundle c.1834, but is now lost.

{3} Part of a Roman cup resembling Samian, very fine, stamped OF. LIBERTI. found at Oundle; once in possession of Mr Thomas Beal of Oundle (alive in 1834); whereabouts c.1900 unknown.

{5} Found in churchyard.

{6} No further information.
