Summary

Fieldwalking survey in January 1969 identified scatters of medieval pottery and limestone rubble, probably signifying a medieval settlement or farmstead.

Full Description

{1} Eight patches of limestone rubble with plenty of sherds noted on south side of stream. On the north side two such patches noted, January 1969. This appears to be an agricultural settlement as opposed to the industrial settlement of "Potteres Lyveden".

{2} The site was perambulated but was found to be under corn stubble. Little was seen.
