Full Description

{1}Area of made-up earth comprising orange brown sandy loam with frequent limestone pieces, fragments of burnt limestone and some small slate fragments. Possible that the feature may have originated as a small quarry or dump site.

{2}Two minor cut features were encountered during watching brief of sewerage repairs

{3} Medieval/post medieval settlement earthworks recorded as part of the Rockingham Forest Project survey. Hall's mapped area corresponds with the medieval/post medieval manor and its post medieval formal gardens.
