Monument record 3032/0/1 - Late C4th Roman Coin Hoard

A late 4th century Roman coin hoard was found at Blackfriars School, Laxton in 1935. It consisted of 399 coins, mostly very small bronze and minted between 388 and 395. The coins are now in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.

{5} Mr. C Mason of Laxton indicated at SP 95859698 the spot where he found the coins. He retained two and the remainder are in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge.
