Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking (1960's?). A prehistoric barbed and tanged flint arrowhead was found by J.Martin and in his possession in 1974.
{2} A stone axe and a stone macehead were reported by the farmer to have been found in the area of SP936949, in a field that used to be known as Pottersgate or Pottingate. (A mound of unknown origin occurs in this field.)
