Summary

Cropmarks of possible ditched enclosures identified on aerial photographs. Worked flint and Roman pottery has been found to the east of the cropmarks during fieldwalking survey.

Full Description

{1} Romano-British pottery indicating possible settlement site; also flints. Lies at SP876756.

{2} Flints and Romano-British pottery found at SP873757. The only distinctive new site to be recorded was in the parish of Pytchley at SP873757, where a scatter of flint and Romano-British pottery was widely strewn across a field.
