Monument record 3111/0/1 - Iron Age & Romano-British Ditches or Pits

A series of ditches and pits containing Iron Age and Romano-British pottery were cut by a pipeline trench in 1965.

{4} The site falls in a grass field that has been cut by a water pipe line and it seems probable that the finds were made then. The farmer has no knowledge of any finds of this nature from here.
