Full Description

{1} Iron Age and Roman settlement (SP 984682), south west of Caldecote village on limestone at 250ft above OD. An area of approximately 0.4 hectares is covered with early Iron Age and Roman sherds.

{2} About an acre of early Iron Age and Romano-British sherds; limestone. SP 984693.

{3} Conjoined enclosures recorded on AP in 1982.

{4} The NGR given above (Source 1) would appear to be erroneous and is likely No. 5 (listed in Source 1 as SP 984693), where there are cropmark features identified on aerial photographs dated to 1982. These have been recorded in Monument Number 1134903.
