Full Description

{1} A small early Iron Age hut-circle ditch, 5.3m in diameter, was revealed in a pipeline trench;

{2} A water pipe trench cut through a small early Iron Age hut circle ditch, 3ft wide, and 3ft deep, enclosing an area of estimated diameter 16ft. Glacial sand and gravel. SP 916628

{3} This area was assessed as part of the Bedford Borough NMP aerial survey project. No features as described above were visible on any of the available aerial photographs.
