Early Iron Age ditch and an area of occupation observed in a pipeline trench

{1} North-west of the village on clay at 60m above OD. An early Iron Age ditch and an area of occupation, marked by pebbles, were revealed in a pipeline trench;

{4} This area was assessed as part of the Bedford Borough NMP aerial survey project. No features as described above were visible on any of the available aerial photographs.
