Full Description

{2}Roman settlement (SP 982633) in the extreme SE of the parish on Boulder clay at 230 ft above OD. During recent excavations for house foundations, some Roman ditches were noted.

{3} This area was assessed as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project. However, no evidence of features as described could be seen on the available aerial photographs or remote sensing data.
