Full Description

{1} Roman sherds found during fieldwalking at SP870588 in December 1965.

{2} Area of SP870589 (100m further north than the earlier reference!). A few Roman grey ware sherds were found in 1966.

{3} Roman material is recorded at SP870589.

{4} Fieldwalking in 1965 by Hollowell. 5 sherds of Romano-British grey ware were found.

{5} Hollowell states sherds were fragmentary only and were not retained. Area confirmed as in Authy {1}.
