Full Description

{1} Jacques and Son Ltd, Wholesale Shoe Manufacturers, Station Road. A shoe factory was established at 40 Station Road in 1910. The factory had a fire in 1923 and the business closed. The factory building was most recently used by 'Totectors', now re-located to Crown Park industrial estate. The building on Station Road has recently been demolished for a housing association project.
