{1} Fieldwalking undertaken in 1966 identified Iron Age pottery. Fieldname: Young Ausway Wood.
{2} Iron Age sherds were found in Castle Ashby parish at SP 850570 in February 1966 by field walking.
{4} R Hollowell confirms the area but does not retain the finds. Site in wood, no finds made.
