{1} Fieldwalking survey found Roman pottery in modern drainage ditches.

Fieldname: Arniss Copse (?).

{3} In Yardley Hastings parish, at SP 861547, ditches containing Roman pottery were seen in the wood, May 1967

{4} Forest drainage ditches are centred to SP 86035451. No pottery was found during perambulation. Mr Hollowell retains 5 sherds of coarse Romano British ware from this area.
