Full Description

{1} Ponds lying within existing or former woodland, also used as common grazing. The ponds are of a highly irregular and unusual form. SP873552. North of Old Pond Close and adjacent to The Pastures is a generally T-shaped pond, with several islands within it and at least 12 projections from it. Site name: New Pond. The purpose and date of the ponds are not known.
