{1} Gives field names and grid refs as: Brafield Furze C field, SP827574; and Robinsdale and Mere Barn B fields, SP823575

{3}{4} Site name: Robinsdale. Iron Age and Roman sherds found 1961 with patches of dark earth and large stones.

{4} Iron Age and Roman settlement (SP 828574) at the W end of the parish, on Boulder Clay at 1076 m. above OD. Iron Age and Roman pottery were found with patches of dark soil and large stones.
