Summary

Finds of Romano-British pottery and 3rd to 4th century coins roof tiles and scatters of flint pebbles and limestone indicating the site of a possible building. A flint scraper also found.

Full Description

{1} Pottery ranging over the whole Roman period, stone scatter, roof tiles, worked flints and animal bones found 1961. 3rd and 4th century coin in poor condition.

{6} (SP825567) Samain, Castor ware and other RB sherds, 3rd or 4thc ae coin, flint scraper and stone scatter. Nov 1961. R Hollowell.

{7} SP825567 Since 1961 many sherds 2c-4c, roof tile fragments a scatter of flint pebbles and limestone, and in 1963/64 a small cobbled area was uncovered. Indicated area under crop.
