Full Description

{1} Many Romano-British pot sherds from SP843538 including C4th AD;

{2} Fieldwalking; finds brought in to Northampton Museum for identification on 12/06/1954; Romano-British pot sherds & hone stone; large stones observed possibly represent a road surface; found in WWII & later ploughing; The Gallops & The Wold, Yardley Chase;

{3} SP 843 538. Many Roman sherds, some 4th century, and large stones, thought to be a road, found when Chase Park was ploughed up, 1939-45.
