Iron Age and Roman pottery and tesserae found here in 1961. A Roman coin was found in 1954

{1} Finds include a Roman coin, a third brass of Valens;

{3} Fitzhugh Holding. Iron Age and Roman pottery and tesserae found 1961. Coin of Valens found here 1954;

{4} The pottery and bronze handle (found at SP 8087 5511) were kept by the farmer, Mr H Fitzhugh of Hackleton. The coin is now in Northampton Museum.

{5} (SP 808553) 3rd Brass of Valens found 1954; in Northants Museum. RB and IA sherds found with bronze coiled-snake handle (Fitzhugh) by R Hollowell, 1961.
