Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking by Mark Porter 04/02/1991; a sherd of Nene Valley/Castor colour-coated pottery in association with surface scatterings of limestone & furnace slag in large quantities in patches over area. Further fieldwalking on 23/03/1991 found some furnace slag, 2 medieval sherds, 1 Romano British sherd, 1 oxidised, undated, sherd. Larger quantity of post med sherds. No finds collected on either occasion.
