Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking identified an area c.2ha in extent covered with pebbles and Romano-British pot sherds. A puddingstone quern was also found.

{3} Archaeological survey of Higham Park undertaken in 1967. Several acres of dark Roman occupation with large quantities of pebbles and pottery. Runs into Newton parish. Charcoal patches to the south.
