Cropmarks. The cutting of a drain revealed a number of ditches containing Romano British pottery.

Full Description

{1}Features comprising ditches containing Romano-British pottery and tile;

{2} (SP851624) Cropmark (seen by) R Hollowell August 1964 and 67. (Nothing visible on available APs RAF 1946) There is nothing to be seen on Hollowell's photo at the indicated site, and only nebulous marks in the field to the north at SP85196263. At present under crop.

{3} Cutting of a drain on a caravan site at SP 851624 in 1970 revealed a number of ditches containing Roman colour coated and grey ware sherds and some tile.
