Full Description

{1} A large middle Neolithic Danish stone axe or adze was found in 1956.

{2} Part of a large Scandinavian-type adze of rectangular section, perhaps an ancient import, was found in Jackson's lane in 1956. Photo.

{4} Northampton Museum have no additional information regarding the circumstances of find or the finder but retain the adze.
