Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking recovered medieval pot sherds. Found following quarry reclamation & possibly imported from elsewhere. 13 pieces of Lyveden ware.

{2} Scatter of medieval pottery, including a jug handle of Lyveden ware. Incorrect/conflicting grid reference SP843748. Seen by Mrs J Eady of Spencer Lodge Farm.

{4} Mrs Eady indicated the site of her finds at approx SP 84037466. The pottery was found after reclamation following quarrying, and so was probably transported from elsewhere. Mrs Eady retains the material (13 pieces in all of Lyveden ware).

[5} Re SP 87 SW 11. I am the same Mrs Eady that supplied the original information but it has been recorded in the wrong field. I found the items described in the field north of the given reference. OS 0078 towards the eastern boundary 1/3rd south of the southern hedgerow. SP 8273-8373.
