Monument record 3663/0/1 - Possible Saxon cemetery, Cranford

The alleged Anglo-Saxon cemetery, said to be in Cranford, is more likely to be a misplacing of either that in Woodford or that in Twywell. Three small Saxon urns from Cranford were recorded in 1904 as coming from Cranford. Northampton, South Kensington and the British Museums had one each, although the British Museum's urn has been lost since.

{1} Unlocated features; possible early Saxon burials; the alleged cemetery is said to be in Cranford, although it is more likely to be a misplacing of either Woodford or Twywell;

{2} Three small Saxon urns; one in Northampton Museum and one in South Kensington possibly from here;
