Full Description

{1} Wide scatter of medieval sherds, including a range of Shelly wares, Lyveden type wares and both oxidised and reduced sandy ware. There may be some significance in the sunken bridle way running through the site from the nearby 'lost' villages of Wythemail and Badsaddle to the west. There were also sherds of Roman grey sandy ware and a large piece of shelly roof tile.
