Monument record 3747/0/0 - Roman finds

Possible Romano British settlement, or villa site consisting of building stone, roof tile and pottery.

{1}FLDWALKING;RB POT SHERDS & ROOF TILES & BUILDING STONE;(?);

{3} At SP 8507728, a Romano-British occupation site was located in April 67. Areas of building stone and roof tile, and a large range of Romano-British coarse wares were found. (Nothing visible in this area on AP's).

{4} Mr Fox confirmed the above sitings; the pottery found is now in Kettering Museum. No surface remains were seen at the site and no finds were made.
