Full Description

{1} A possible medieval brass seal of St Michael and the Dragon inscribed 'S.Willemi Chesterton'. Found in Kettering Field near Rothwell. Also an undated brass hog found in stone cell or vault under a large stone. Both were with the Sawyer family at Kettering, but were shown to the Society of Antiquaries in 1776. F
