{1}A Roman potter's wheel and stands of unbaked clay, for supporting pottery in kilns, found near Wellingborough.

{3} R Moore (Keeper Northampton Museum) suggests that this wheel probably came from Irchester but can offer no evidence wither documentary or actual.
